Keep MoEngage. Add the agent that answers.

MoEngage is excellent at decisioning: who to message, when, with what. Modern AI there optimizes send time and channel. The gap is the reply: when the customer asks why their KYC failed, the journey still ends. Kontakt holds that conversation and finishes it.

The campaign got opened. Then they replied.

Your dormancy push lands. The customer replies with a real question. A journey tool has no answer for that moment. Kontakt does: same memory of the customer, same thread, resolution logged as a finished job. MoEngage made the opening. The agent closed it.

How it connects

MoEngage fires the campaign. The reply lands with Kontakt via the shared channel or a webhook. The agent works the conversation to a finished job and writes the outcome back. The same pattern applies to Braze, CleverTap, and Customer.io.

When you do not need Kontakt next to MoEngage

If your campaigns are genuinely one-way and replies are rare or unimportant, you may not need this yet. The moment replies carry revenue, saves, or compliance risk, you do.
